Africa No. 1 offers its listeners news bulletins every hour between 5:30 a.m. and 11:00 p.m. (Universal Time) and major editions in the morning (5:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m.), at midday (12:00 p.m.), and in the evening (6:00 p.m.) composed by its editorial staff located in Libreville and its correspondents based throughout Africa and Europe.
Africa No. 1 has been the leading French-speaking radio station on the African continent since its creation in 1981.
The station also has FM (frequency modulation) relays in the major capitals of French-speaking Africa and in Paris (107.5 FM).
