ScreenStream is a perfect assistant for those looking for an easy way to share video from a smartphone with colleagues, clients, family or even fellow gamers. It helps you instantly start screen & audio streaming and access it in any browser, without any wires, extensions or even paid tools. Just start the app, and it will generate a unique URL, that can be used to access the stream from other devices: smartphones, tablets, as well as laptop and desktop PCs. Users can set a PIN-code to access the stream, to protect sensitive information from unauthorized access. But what sets the ScreenStream app apart from the competition is the ability to choose from three modes:

1. Global (WebRTC). It is an end-to-end encrypted, password-protected peer-to-peer streaming mode, that allows to share screen, microphone, and device audio. It requires guests to enter the stream ID and password to access the stream, using any WebRTC-enabled browser.
2. Local (MJPEG). It uses an embedded HTTP-server, and doesn't require an internet access. Can work over local Wi-Fi and hotspot. Suitable for streaming video, as independent JPEG images. Has no encryption, and cannot stream sound.
3. RTSP. This mode requires RTSP‑capable server. It is suitable for streaming  H.265/H.264/AV1 video + OPUS/AAC/G.711 audio over Wi-Fi or a cellular network.

The ScreenStream app also allows to adjust video quality and resolution, rotate and trim image, and access some other settings to make it easier to manage broadcasting and traffic consumption.
