There are four modes in the game Critical Ops. Each of them has a number of features:

1. Defuse the Bomb. The main task of the team is to discreetly plant a bomb to the opponents. The other team must oppose them. Victory goes to those whose bomb explodes. The level may end if players on one team are killed by the opposing team.
2. Battle for Life. Rival players fight for life until time runs out. The team whose players were hurt the least wins.
3. Ranked Games. You can get access to these games on one condition. You must shoot 250 players, and access is granted. In these games, participants are awarded points for each round they complete, and points are lost for losses. As a consequence, a player can both rise and fall in the CriticalOps rankings table.
4. Gangame. A relatively new mode in the game Critical Ops. The main feature of this mode is that here each player plays for himself. The user continues to act as a team, but the work of each participant affects which weapon he will play with next.
