GeoLine

GeoLine program is designed for specialists in the field of geodesy, as well as for tourists and travelers.

Before a trip you can enter in advance into the program interesting objects that you intend to visit, so as not to miss anything and not to forget. In addition, it will significantly help in finding attractions.

You can also save in the program coordinates of interesting places, where you were, so that later, at home, to consider these points in Google Earth, remembering the trip.

The GeoLine program provides the following functionality for professionals:

• determination of the coordinates of the location of objects on the ground anywhere in the world;
• Possibility to get coordinates in different systems (SK-42, SK-95, PZ-90, WGS-84, Gauss-Krueger, local SK ) without additional recalculations;
• storage of acquired point coordinates on a mobile device;
• export/import of catalogs to a personal computer in different digital formats (Google kml; Geoline xml; Geograf grf);
• determination of the distance between any points on the terrain;
• determination of driving direction to the given point;
• calculation of the area and perimeter of a polygon from the given points;
• mapping of the acquired points;
• updating of the map at a scale of 1:25000 and smaller;

Additionally, with the help of the program it is possible to

• determination of the velocity of the object's movement;
• the possibility of orientation on the ground with the built-in compass and / or directions to known points;
• to see traffic congestion.

As an example, the file peloponnes.xml, which can be loaded into the program GeoLine.

Place it in the folder ../apps/geoline

Start the program, open the Points widget, then Add menu.

Peloponnes.kml is an example of a file saved by the program in the format of Google Earth.
