Orfox

Orfox is an indispensable program for those who care about the security of their personal data when surfing the Internet.

Orfox is based on the Firefox browser, but contains a number of tools and modifications designed to improve your privacy online. This browser does not keep a record of the history of visited sites and does not let the operating system do that.

The main feature of the program is the encryption of traffic in the Tor network. This means that it protects by redirecting traffic through a whole network of servers run by users from around the world. This not only prevents the sites you visit from being tracked, but it also prevents your Internet connection from being monitored and prevents your real location from being calculated.

It's worth noting that the Orfox browser contains the NoScript and HTTPSEverywhere extensions. They allow you to increase the user's online security and improve page loading speeds. Both extensions are activated by default.

Otherwise, the program has a full range of features necessary for comfortable browsing. It allows you to work with several tabs simultaneously, add important pages to bookmarks and has a built-in download manager. By default, the program uses the confidential search engine DuckDuckGo, but you can change it if necessary.

Note that in order for the program to work, you must first install the current version of Orbot. This is needed to run the anonymous Tor network.
