Roku - Official Remote Control

Roku is a mobile companion app for Roku devices. With it, you can use your smartphone or tablet as a remote control, or you can stream multimedia content to your gadget.

The program features:

• Using your smartphone or tablet as a remote control;
• Watching broadcasts of your favorite movies and TV shows from The Roku Channel on the screen of your device;
• support for audio playback through headphones;
• voice search support;
• Transfer photos, music and videos from your gadget to your TV;
• Ability to add and run channels on your Roku device.

Note that to use most features, your gadget must be connected to the same wireless network as your Roku device. You may also need to sign in to your Roku account.

Feature availability

Voice Search is only available in the U.S., U.K., and Canada, and only in English. The list of channels depends on the country of use and availability of subscriptions. In addition, listening to content on headphones is only available on Roku Express, Express+, Roku Streaming Stick (3600, 3800, 3810), Roku Streaming Stick+, Roku Premiere, Roku Premiere+, Roku Ultra and Roku TV.
