Starface is an application that allows you to find out which celebrities the user looks like. The application is supported by Android OS versions one through eight inclusive.

The program runs on tablets and smartphones whose operating system corresponds to the software compatibility of the product. Starface supports English, there is no russified version.

Starface is an application designed for entertainment. Specially developed search algorithms allow to find which celebrity the person in the picture most resembles. The Starface app functions simply - the user takes a photo or uploads an image from a gallery. As soon as the uploaded information is processed, the program gives the result. For the facial recognition algorithms to work at the proper level, the uploaded photo must be clear and not blurred.

Features of Starface

The algorithms used by the app highlight the face in the photo without regard to the objects in the background. Once a face is recognized, the image is uploaded to the server, and then the celebrity photos with the highest resemblance are produced. Images of three celebrities with an external resemblance are displayed. As a bonus, the app will provide pictures of people who also look like the user who uploaded the photo. An extensive database guarantees facial recognition according to the fine-tuned work of the search algorithms.
