MediaTek introduced a mobile processor for gamers

MediaTek does not abandon its attempts to conquer the market. The company has announced an interesting chip. It is called Helio G70 and is designed for gaming smartphones.

We are talking about mid-level models - more affordable than expensive flagships. At the same time - opportunities for gamers will not diminish. Helio G70 will provide decent performance.

The platform is 8-core. There are 6 modules ARM Cortex-A55 (1.7 GHz) and a pair of ARM Cortex-A75 (2.0 GHz). Completes the configuration powerful graphics ARM Mali-G52 2EEMC2.

SoC supports screens with a resolution of 2520 by 1080 pixels. Also guaranteed to save battery consumption and improved response. HyperEngine technology is responsible for this. Games run faster with it.

In addition, there are no problems with face unlocking. The AI Face ID feature is used for identification. Helio G70 allows for a dual camera (16 MP + 16 MP).

If the lens is single, it can be 48 MP. You won't have to complain about bad pictures. The maximum amount of RAM on board is 8 GB LPDDR4x. Among other things, the novelty is compatible with eMMC 5.1 drives.

As for communication, there is a cellular modem. It is "friendly" with the following networks: 4G FDD / TDD (LTE Cat-7 DL / Cat-13 UL), CDMA2000 1x/EVDO Rev. A (SRLTE) and HSPA +.

With navigation full order. There are receivers for GPS, Beidou, GLONASS and Galileo. Rounding out the picture is an FM tuner, Bluetooth 5.0 and Wi-Fi 5 (802.11a/b/g/n/ac).

Helio G70-based phones will be released in the coming months.
