AdiIRC is an IRC client for Windows. Allows you to chat in text chats, connect to servers and channels, exchange files with other users.
The program is available as a regular version and portable, which does not need to be installed and can be run from any media.
The installation procedure is very simple and fast. Immediately after launching, the program will ask you to enter your credentials to connect to the server. This data includes the nickname, connection port, etc. There are many servers that you can connect to and the option to automatically log in to certain channels.
AdiIRC has a standard interface for this category of programs. The main part is taken by the chat, there are separate panels with channels and nicknames of users. The DCC protocol is supported. It is possible to connect to multiple servers in parallel. The choice is available a large number of servers of different subjects, but you can also add new ones.
The program may seem a bit confusing to a beginner, but experienced users will find much useful here, including automatic reconnection when connection is lost.
