Alice is an educational software that is designed to help you learn object-oriented programming. It will simplify the learning process, through interactive lessons that will help you better understand how different objects interact.
The study of object-oriented programming is usually associated with a cumbersome code editor and tons of documentation. This software aims to change the traditional approach in order to simplify the learning process by creating a three-dimensional, interactive world.
To do this, Alice includes a large library of objects, environments, and characters that can be used to create a 3D world. The built-in scene editor makes it easy to add objects to the world and control their position and size. Each object has its own set of routines that you can apply to animate scenes. You can select procedures, event triggers, functions and other actions in the Code Editor.
The program interface is designed to simplify the creation of worlds using methods, operators and functions. You can add objects by simply dragging and dropping them without writing a single line of code.
The finished animation can be exported to a video file, and uploaded directly to YouTube.
