I have an asus k56cm in use, actually, I used it to test ASUS Drivers Update Utility. The utility found and downloaded all the drivers I needed without any problems! I made a backup of the drivers, but hopefully I won't have to restore them. Great program! Not sure how it will work on older models, though, but I think it's just as good.

After I bought my Asus laptop, I noticed that suspiciously all the games were slow, even the ones that were good on the old laptops. It turned out to be trivial: I had to download new drivers. It was too tedious to find them by myself, so I installed the ASUS Drivers Update Utility. This is much faster, because it takes too long to find out what firmware is on my laptop and to download it for each one separately. This program saves a lot of problems. I recommend it to all lucky owners of Asus. In addition, it is free.
