Awesome Screenshot is an extension for Google Chrome that will allow you to take a screenshot of an open web page in several different ways.
Installing the extension gives you the ability to take screenshots of pages the way you want. It captures the entire page in one piece, including what's outside the screen, just the visible part, or a randomly selected area.
Next, you can edit the screenshot you take. You have tools such as cropping, shapes (rectangle, ellipse, arrows, lines), blur effects (will help you hide unnecessary information), text insertion and color palette. They will help to highlight the necessary parts of the screenshot and hide the unnecessary ones.
Awesome Screenshot automatically uploads screenshots to Diigo.com, but you can also save them to disk in PNG or JPG format, copy them to the clipboard or send them for printing.
The extension has a timer. It allows you to take a screenshot with a delay, so that you can open the necessary menu on the page.
Video recording is implemented in the extension. You can record both the computer screen and a webcam. Including in parallel. Video without sound makes little sense, so there is also recording from a microphone. Settings are few: you can choose where to save the video, and the resolution.
