It can also pack folders into 7ZIP archives, display messages and play beeps (ideal for reminders), run external programs, clean up folders, and shutdown/restart your computer.
BACKUPTIME can do all these things on a pre-defined schedule. With the built-in scheduler, they can be scheduled for a specific date and time. Plus, they can be performed on specific days of the week and repeatedly every day, hour or minute.
When scheduling, the program also allows you to add a description and name of the scheduled operation to make them easier to navigate. The program interface is very simple and consists of three tabs: the first shows the scheduled operations, the second shows the available actions, and the third shows the messages. In the options you can enable/disable autorun and a number of other parameters.
