Cool Reader is a program for reading e-books on your computer. This reader has flexible settings with which you can customize the text of the book for more comfortable reading from the screen.

Cool Reader is one of the best e-book readers. It supports a huge number of "book" formats. They include epub (no DRM protection), doc, pdb, fb2, txt, rtf, html, chm and tcr. In addition, it can open books packed in zip, rar, arj, ha and lzh archives. The program understands such encodings as DOS, WIN, KOI-8, Latin, UTF-8 and Unicode without any problems.

Flexible settings of the text and the appearance of pages in Cool Reader will help to reduce the strain on the eyes, and make prolonged reading more comfortable. Program allows to choose a font, adjust rendering parameters (anti-aliasing, gamma, hinting, boldness etc.) and font size, change color of text and background. Moreover, it allows you to make the background of the page texture, there are several different textures to choose from. In addition, it is possible to flexibly customize styles with CSS files.

The reader offers three page view modes: scroll, one page, two pages. Also available are line spacing, indentation, and page turning animation. And for those who like to read at night or in the dark, there is a special night mode.
