CrystalDiskMark is a free program designed to test and analyze the read/write speed of your hard drive. It will help you determine the average speed of your drive and evaluate its performance.
For this purpose, CrystalDiskMark can use a test file ranging in size from 50MB to 32GB of your choice. For more accurate results, it performs several consecutive tests, the number of which you can specify before starting the process.
CrystalDiskMark is a useful program. In the program settings menu, you can select the type of data used (random or zeros), the interval between tests and configure the queue size and the number of threads for random and sequential read/write.
After running all the tests, CrystalDiskMark will give you a result with the average hard disk read/write speed. Thanks to the simple interface and clear presentation of the results, the program is very easy and convenient to use.
