Delavar is a 32-bit C-like compiler for Windows and Linux. One of the differences of this compiler, is the ability to use keywords and variable names in Russian. The compiler creates code for the NASM assembler. The obvious advantage of this assembler is that it allows you to create object and executable files of a large number of formats.
The Delavar compiler parameters allow you to set the output format option for 32-bit Windows and Linux operating systems.
Simple batch files are used to compile the program and run the executable. You can also use the simple development environment found in the examples in the GTK folder.
Programs written in Delavar use various libraries, such as Open GL, SDL, PDCURSES, GTK, FREEGLUT, WINBGIM, SQLITE as well as the standard C language library. The 0.54 version of the compiler added the ability to multi-module compile as well as DLL creation. Added examples of construction of various fractals with GL and WINBGIM libraries. Added examples of working with SQLite databases, as well as with databases via ADO. Added the "Solitaire" game to the Win32 examples. GTK example added to the Russian examples. Added editor with syntax highlighting of the Russian version of the compiler to GTK examples. In the examples for Win32 are such games as Solitaire, Tetris, Tennis. Example of working with Windows Media Player via COM-interface.
