This program monitors the vital signs of your hard drive, logs the data and lets you know about possible problems, which can be caused by mechanical or software reasons.
DiskCheckup has a clean interface that is easy to understand. The top part of the window displays all connected drives, and the bottom part displays tabs with various information about the selected drive.
This information includes general information about the drive, including model, capacity, status, interface, serial number, firmware version, etc. Two other tabs show S.M.A.R.T. data and its history.
In addition to monitoring your hard drive, DiskCheckup allows you to perform tests on it in order to assess its condition more accurately. It offers two types of tests: quick and advanced.
Under the last tab are hidden options for managing the hidden areas of the hard drive. In the program settings, you can select the temperature units, and set the critical temperature level at which the program will warn you.
