Driver Sweeper

Driver Sweeper is designed to clean the system of any traces that may have remained after uninstalling drivers. This program can come in handy if you want to completely remove drivers before replacing any device, or install a new version from scratch.

Driver Sweeper can be used in two ways. The first way is as follows:

• You uninstall drivers using the standard method;
• Boot Windows in Safe Mode;
• Start Driver Sweeper and start the system analysis;
• Delete the detected remnants.

The second method is as follows:

• You also uninstall drivers in the usual way;
• Scan your system with Driver Sweeper;
• Remove traces of the drivers;
• Restart your computer.

The program supports the following hardware manufacturers: NVIDIA (Display and Chipset), ATI (Display), Creative (Sound) Realtek (Sound), Ageia (PhysX) and Microsoft (Mouse).

If you have arranged the icons on your desktop in any particular order, and you don't want it to be broken after reinstalling/removing the video card drivers, Driver Sweeper can save it for you. After installing new drivers, you will be able to restore all the icons to their original location.
