eCramming

eCramming is a program for learning English words that contains a database of several thousand words.

All words of the database have parameters, so that there is an opportunity to choose words for learning:

• by ratings (Top 100, 200, 500, 1000, 2000, 3000, 5000);
• CEFR levels (A1 - C2);
• by belonging to user-generated collections;
• by parts of speech;
• it is possible to select only irregular verbs.

The program allows you to:

• Form small sets of words (exercises) to learn, the number of which can be any;
• Build word collections;
• Learn words from the monitor screen with or without a voiceover;
• Print flashcards on the printer;
• Maintain a database of words (add words, edit, delete, export to text files);
• Form a list of learned words, export it to a text file;
• Share information (words, collections, exercises) with other users via text files.

The software contains tools for synchronizing databases, word collections, and exercises between different users. This support is necessary when a group of people (e.g. students in a class) study words according to a single plan. These tools are also a means of restoring the data in the case of loss or damage.

The program is portable, requires no installation, and can run from any media, including flash drives.
