Edi - Text Editor

Edi - Text Editor is a simple text editor in which you can create documents with images, tables and hyperlinks, and export them to Word, OpenOffice or PDF files.

Creating Documents Using Templates

This editor uses a system of templates to quickly create documents. A new file is automatically generated based on the values given by the user while maintaining the layouts of the original documents.

You can create any number of templates by editing their layouts and adding desired values. All templates are displayed in the main Edi - Text Editor window and can be searched by title, description or location.

Export features

You can save the documents in DOCX, DOC, ODT, EPUB, MHT, RTF or HTML format. Documents can be rearranged before printing and there is also an option to export documents into PDF format with additional options, such as image compression, adding a password and a digital signature, filling in meta-data (author, subject, keywords, etc.).

This editor is also capable of saving text documents as BMP, EMF, WMF, GIF, PNG, TIFF and JPG graphic formats.

Editing Documents

Edi - Text Editor offers all the standard text editing features, lets you insert tables and images, add footnotes and headings, etc. Document formatting means possibility to change font, color and style of text, as well as choosing color of document background. Spell check, page scaling and different display modes are also present.
