ExeLock is a simple portable (no installation required) utility for blocking certain applications from running on your computer. If you need to restrict access to any software on your PC for any reason (e.g. children at home or employees at work), with ExeLock you can do it very quickly and easily.
After starting the application you will see a small laconic window. Select on your computer the program you want to block from running and specify its executable file (.exe). Then think up an arbitrary (but memorable) password that will unlock access to the blocked program in the future, and press "Lock" - that's all. Now no matter who and how is trying to run the program you specified, you won't be able to do it.
To unlock it, select the executable file again, enter your password and press "Unlock".
Additional features of ExeLock include making a backup copy of the executable file. You can also set a date/time when the lock will expire, which is sometimes necessary. For example, you can allow your son (daughter) to play the game on PC only after passing exams: specify the exam date and some evening time - only from that moment your child can start the application, and before that he will not be distracted by entertainment, even if he wants to.
