Faim is the "smallest" instant-messaging client for Windows. However, due to its small size (less than 20 Kb), Faim has very modest functionality. It has neither graphical smileys nor removable skins. But with its main task to send/receive messages Faim handles it very well. It can show contact list, change user's status and view basic information about a contact.
