Filmex

Filmex is an application designed for organizing, cataloging, and watching your personal collection of movies and TV series on home devices over a local network, or on a mobile Android device.

With this program, you can quickly and easily create a video catalog and fill it with your favorite movies. All you need to do is specify the directories where your movies are stored, and the program will scan them and find video files or TV series within them. Then, after starting a search from your chosen source (Kinopoisk or The Movie Database), the program will download detailed information about each movie and organize everything into a convenient, visual catalog.

A separate card is created for each movie in the catalog, which you can edit as you see fit.
Movies can be grouped by various criteria: selected actor, release date, genre, rating, budget, and more.
Descriptions and all additional movie data are pulled from Kinopoisk or The Movie Database.
Before watching a movie, if you like, you can watch a trailer from YouTube in the built-in player.

In addition to the main program, there is also a mobile app, Filmex Client, for Android, which extends the networking capabilities — allowing you to watch movies from your home collection on your phone or TV over the internet.
