flashnul

flashnul is a console utility for checking any flash media: USB-Flash, XD, SD, MMC, MS, ComcactFlash.

It allows you to eliminate the following types of defects

• file system failures;
• Partitioning errors (including those that cause OS to freeze);
• "false" bad sectors.

It is capable of detecting the following types of defects

• Read/write errors;
• Data corruption after a write;
• writing address errors (one of the possible controller defects);
• Device "disappearing" from time to time (with micro cracks).

The program also allows you to save and load an image of the device to (from) a file(s).
