Gadwin PrintScreen is an easy-to-use program that allows you to take snapshots of your desktop with the press of a single, predefined key. As is typical of this type of program, it allows you to take pictures of the entire desktop, the active window, or any selected area.
The program is extremely simple and easy to use. Once launched, a small widget appears on the desktop with buttons to take a screenshot of the window or the selected area, open the settings, and view the history of screenshots.
After taking a screenshot, the program opens it in its own viewer, allowing you to see the resulting image and, if everything is OK, save it. The viewer also has functions to zoom and rotate the image.
The screenshot is saved in one of the supported formats in the directory you specify. Gadwin PrintScreen can also copy the screenshot to the Windows clipboard, send it by mail, or send it to print.
You can also use keyboard shortcuts to create a screenshot. By default these are Prnt Scrn (full screen), Ctrl+Prnt Scrn (highlighted area) or Shift+Prnt Scrn (active window). But in the settings of the program you can change them to any other.
In addition, you can enable/disable the option to display the cursor on the screenshot, select the desired format and folder to save it to, set a template for the automatic naming of screenshots, etc.
