Game Editor is a 2D game builder. It supports development for multiple platforms, including iPhone, iPad, Mac OS X, Windows, Linux, Windows smartphones, GP2X, Pocket PC, and Handheld PC.
A game in Game Editor is constructed as a set of game objects, called actors in this program. Their behavior is defined by describing reactions to events. The appearance of the actors is determined by the sets of animated sprites (called animation) embedded into them. Game Editor can export image files in jpeg, gif, png, bmp, pcx, tga, xpm, xcf, lbm, tif formats. Alpha channels are recognized in image files, for formats where they are not supported, the color of the upper left pixel is considered transparent.
The Game Editor uses the EiC C interpreter as the scripting language used to write your own reaction to events.
