HidesFiles

HidesFiles is a program that allows you to hide files and folders from view, access and search, so that only you will know that these files or folders exist. Regardless of how your computer disks are accessed (via the local network, the Internet or directly), the hidden folders will remain invisible. The program can also hide files on removable disks (floppy disks and flash drives) and transfer them from computer to computer in this form.

The program uses a unique method that does not require installation of drivers and services, as in other programs of this type. This makes it easy to install and use (you don't need administrator rights) and protects your files from those cases where someone uninstalls services or drivers and gets access to your hidden files. The Hides Files program can be uninstalled from your computer - and all hidden files will remain hidden. The program launch is password-protected, and no one but you can view the list of hidden files. The program works with the FAT, FAT32 and NTFS file systems. The program works in a way that will not let the accidental hiding of critical files interfere with the operability of the operating system. The program does not allow you to hide files that are currently used by the system or other applications.
