About the program

Intel Driver & Support Assistant, also known as Intel Driver Update Utility, is designed to provide an easy way to update most drivers for Intel products. It allows all supported hardware to be automatically detected. Once the process is complete, the user will be given a complete list of available updates with the option to download and install them. If necessary, the program also allows you to quickly contact support.

Compatibility

As you can easily guess, Intel Driver & Support Assistant is designed to install updates for Intel products. The program supports running on Microsoft Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 8.1 and Windows 10. Once launched, it will automatically open the default browser and check for compatible hardware online. Supported browsers are Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, or MS Edge versions 44.17763/18.17763 or newer.

Note that this tool is for downloading drivers and other software packages for Intel available in the Download Center. Thus, some drivers may not be supported by the program.
