Kryptor

Kryptor is a free and open-source software for Windows that secures files on your computer. It is a worthy competitor to more famous programs like AxCrypt and Cryptomator.

It is a cross-platform software. It is available on Windows, macOS, and Linux. It uses only time-tested encryption algorithms like XChaCha20, XSalsa20 and AES-CBS with 256-bit keys.

Another spectrum of the program's work that is worth noting is the use of the Argon2 function for key output, as well as the use of the libsodium Sealed Boxes algorithm for passwords.

The main functions of the Kryptor program are

• File encryption with XChaCha20 (default), XSalsa20 or AES-CBC with a 256-bit key;
• Outputting keys with Argon2;
• Output unique encryption key for each file;
