Local HTTP Server

Local HTTP Server - A web server for creating a site on the local network. When running, it outputs files or pages from a specific folder in response to browser requests (you can access the site via IP address or domain name). The configuration is read from an INI file. During operation, information about all client requests, server responses and errors is displayed in the console window.

Program can also be used for testing of browsers: values of all fields of HTTP requests are displayed. Russian letters in file names are not supported. Instructions for use: Fill in the file config.ini. In section [server] parameter data_directory means a folder from which files are taken, and parameter home_page means a relative path of web page, which appears as a main page. Start the server. Type http://localhost/ in your browser. This should give you the home page. Then type http://localhost/ (relative file path) and file (data_directory)((relative file path) should be shown. To access from another computer on the local network use the construct http://(IP address)/(relative file path)
