microReminder

microReminder is a program for reminding the PC user about different things to do.

Reminders can be shown on or off schedule (a few minutes after turning on the PC).
Scheduled reminders can be shown

• On a particular date and time;
• On one or more days of the week, at a specific time;
• Once a month, at a specific day and time.

Several reminder methods are implemented:

• Showing the message in a separate window that appears;
• Showing the message in a notification area (in the system tray);
• Showing an animated icon in the system tray;
• Playing a sound file in *.wav format;
• Launching any user-defined program or, in the general case, opening any file to which the OS has assigned its own application.

In addition, shutdown and reboot functions have been implemented.
