Sluggish Mine is a program which makes the computer slow down at the will of the host. This comes in handy for example as a preventive measure against gaming addiction. The program runs invisibly. After 0, 1, 5, 10 or 20 minutes (all five versions are in the zip archive) the visible performance of the computer will drop. You will have to wait for the file to open and the motion of the picture in the toy is no longer "as if it were a butterfly". An advanced user can start checking the list of processes by pressing the Ctrl+Alt+Del keys. It is recommended to rename the selected exe-file to SERVICE.EXE (the list of processes usually always contains SERVICES.EXE, so which process can be exactly shut down, it will be difficult for the uninitiated to guess).
Against an uninvited guest (who turned on your computer without permission), you can use the 0- or 1-minute version by writing its shortcut to the autorun folder. It is recommended to hide the program's exe-file away from your eyes, and place on your desktop a shortcut (to launch this exe-file) with a name that does not arouse suspicion. Hover your mouse over the shortcut and right click on "Properties" -> "Change icon" in the context menu. You can use icon.ico in the zip archive of this program. This icon will not raise any suspicions. The shortcut can be renamed. It remains to assign a keyboard shortcut to start this program (e.g. Ctrl+Alt+0). This is done via the context menu by right-clicking Properties -> Shortcuts and assigning the shortcut.
The program stops via Task Manager (by pressing Ctrl+Alt+Del keys). In the list of processes find the program's file name and press "End process". Warning: It is not recommended to apply this program to people prone to aggression or deprived of humor, or to people with unstable psyche. The author gratefully accepts all comments on the work of this program (beta-version).
