Network Assistant

Network Assistant is a program for communication and efficient interaction in the local network that does not require a dedicated server.

Features:

• Serverless technology. Network Assistant does not require a connection to the Internet or a dedicated server. The program uses multicast data packets (IP Multicast) or broadcasting.
• Chat channels. Chat channels (or virtual rooms) allow multiple people to chat on different topics. Four types of channels are supported: normal, general for all (broadcast), password-protected and private (for two people).
• Quick messages. The Network Assistant allows you to exchange fast (pop-up) messages. You can also send and receive system messages in WinPopup/Messenger/NetSend format.
• Shared whiteboard. You can use the shared whiteboard to draw diagrams, sketches, visually discuss schemes, etc.
• Announcements. A built-in bulletin board allows you to publish informational messages on a regular basis.
• User information. Every Network Assistant user can enter detailed information about himself/herself: full name, sex, age, contacts, photo (avatar). All these data can be viewed remotely (with the user's permission, of course).
• Forwarding files. You can easily share files with other Network Assistant users.
• Remote process management. You can remotely view and control (create/end) processes on another Network Assistant user's remote machine (with that user's permission, of course).
• View user screen copies. You can remotely view a copy of any user's screen (with user's permission, of course). Multi-monitor systems are supported.
• Clipboard Viewer. You can also remotely view the contents of any user's clipboard (only with their permission, of course).
• Remote alarms. For each Nassi user you can set up alarms that will trigger and inform you of various events that happened to that user.
