NHSMS

NHSMS is a program that sends and receives SMS messages (SMS) via a GSM modem or phone connected to the computer. It is possible to send by command line parameters, list from text files, i.e. it is easy to automate the sending of SMS from command files, scripts or other programs, such as notifying the sysadmin of failures. It reads incoming SMS and reports on the status of sent messages and allows you to set their processing in batch files, scripts or other programs.

• The main purpose of the NHSMS program is to promptly notify via SMS the staff of the situations requiring immediate intervention, such as loss of connection, switching to standby power, stopping services and programs, i.e. for system administrators and other professionals who control the equipment. Incoming message processing makes it possible to issue control commands (e.g. restarting services or computers).
• The program can also be used to send informational messages to customers - about products and services, promotions, and the status of the order. The ability to read incoming SMS can be used to automatically fulfill customer requests (order placement, requesting contact information, etc.). * A license is required to enable unlimited SMS texting.
• Sending is done in 16-bit encoding (max. 70 characters/message with support for Russian language) or 7-bit encoding (160 characters/message with support for GSM 7-bit characters only). The sending encoding is defined automatically. Both short (up to 70/160 characters) and long (more than 70/160 characters) messages are correctly handled by the sending and receiving functions.
• Encodings OEM, ANSI, Unicode are supported when sending from files.
• Sending USSD and receiving a reply, including support for 7-bit and 16-bit encodings.
• The program has console and graphical interfaces, as well as silent (hidden) mode.
• Modem/phone can be connected via serial port, infrared port, Bluetooth, USB port (must be defined as a serial port).
• The program allows you to use the SMS center number configured in the phone, or specify a different number.
