Ninja Trader is a multifunctional program that can be used both for charting and technical analysis, and as a full-fledged trading platform for trading futures contracts, stocks, and currencies on FOREX. It is suitable for developing a trading system (it has a programming language, ability to execute scripts - the whole set for creating your own TS) and it can work as a trader's simulator.
It contains open COM, DLL, .NET interfaces, that is why there are extensions (plugins) for NinjaTrader, which provide new functionality for investors. The downloadable program is only the installer, which installs NinjaTrader. The size of the platform itself is about 30 MB!!!
