Olive Video Editor is an advanced tool for working with video material from digital and analog sources. It is at the early stage of development, but it already offers its users a comprehensive set of tools and options.
It is important to note that this program cannot retrieve and convert video material from sources by itself. That's why it must first be imported to your hard drive via any convenient method, and then loaded into the editor.
The program interface is well laid out and consists of several docks, which can be closed if they are not suitable for the current task or work style.
As for video editing, Olive Video Editor has almost everything you may need, including tools for non-linear editing, processing, editing, etc. If you can't find something you need in the program, it's OK - it's in the active development stage and is updated almost every day.
This video editor is distributed as open source. It is available free of charge for anyone who wants to test it.
