OnionShare is an open-source Windows tool that allows you to securely and anonymously share files, host web sites, and communicate with friends using the official Tor network.
Before you use this program, make sure you have Tor Browser installed on your computer. Then install the program, run it, and you can immediately start using it, because it does not require any additional settings.
In order to upload files, you need to add files/folders through the appropriate button, or simply by dragging and dropping them into the program window. When the files are added, the program starts the Tor Onion server, downloads the data and generates a random, complex link where users given the link will be able to download the files.
Only Tor Browser users will be able to access this link and download the data. Moreover, if "Stop sharing automatically" option is enabled, then the server will be automatically shut down as soon as the download is finished. Then no one else will be able to download your files.
This combination of ease of use and level of protection for user data makes it a great way to share files securely. Because of this, even users with no experience with anonymization programs will be able to work with this program.
