Osmos is a two-dimensional computer game in the puzzle genre. The goal of the game is to absorb other organisms of different sizes in order to increase the size of your own sphere. In general, victory is achieved by increasing the player's "organism" to a given size.
The basis of the gameplay of the game is the absorption of other organisms by your own. Organisms are represented in the game as spheres of different sizes. The absorption is done by colliding the player's sphere with smaller spheres. Collision with larger organisms leads to the absorption of the player's sphere, and subsequently to defeat. Movement of the player is carried out according to the principle of reactive motion, by throwing his own mass in the opposite direction to the desired direction of movement. Thus, moving entails a loss of mass, and reduction of the player's sphere. The player also has the ability to speed up or slow down time in the game.
The game has an achievement system. By completing certain goals at the levels, the player unlocks achievements.
