Ping Monster

Ping Monster is a free utility for monitoring the availability of computers and sites on the network. It also notifies you by email or beep if a host becomes unavailable.

About the program

The interface of the utility is a little outdated, reminiscent of the movie "The Matrix". It is able to monitor several hosts at once, information about which must be entered before you start. Ping Monster also offers a number of settings.

First of all, it is the interval between "pings" and the number of attempts, after which the notification about the idle host will be performed. Then you choose the notification method: audio signal, sending a message to an e-mail or request to a specified URL.

This utility is an evolution of the standard ping command that you can use from the Windows command line. It is just as easy to use, but adds more options, allowing it to be used more comfortably.
