R-Type is a classic shoemaking game released in July 1987. In it, you have to control a small spaceship. Your goal is to destroy the alien fleet intent on destroying all of humanity.
This game is far from new and its installation may be difficult for computers on the latest versions of Windows. The gameplay is quite simple. You will progress through the levels, destroying enemies until you get to the boss. After defeating him, the level is considered passed. The main difficulty is the relatively weak weaponry that is installed on your ship initially, as well as the small number of hitpoints. Any hit on the ship or collision with an object causes a restart of the level.
As you progress through the game, you can gain a "Force", a glowing orange orb. It can be attached to the bow or tail of the ship or left spinning around it. When the item is attached, it adds an additional weapon to the player. If the orb rotates around the ship, it can be used as an indestructible shield and also allows you to fire at enemies.
Unfortunately, the game is not available in Russian.
