Sav Zigzag

Sav Zigzag Sav Zigzag is an object-relational DBMS (ORDBMS) that supports the Zigzag language, which is more expressive than SQL and XQuery. It is a Java library or API, older versions of which were distributed as Sav ZAPI.

This interface forms a powerful new Java/Zigzag language for developing high-performance object-relational database applications. Zigzag algebraic expressions make it easy to handle not only tabular data, but also hierarchical data, like XML with its dynamic and multi-level structure. All, tabular and XML, data can be stored in one database.
