SciTE is a cross-platform text editor created using the Scintilla editing component.
It is intended mainly for editing program source code and performs syntax highlighting for many programming languages (C, C++, C#, Java, Ruby, Pascal, Perl, Python, etc.), markup (HTML, XML, etc.), hardware description (VHDL, Verilog, SystemVerilog). SciTE is characterized as a compact text editor for programmers with handy code collapsing, advanced syntax highlighting and other useful functions. SciTe is a portable application and works when launched from portable devices. The size of the SciTE distribution kit does not exceed 1 Mb.
