Scribus has a huge arsenal of functions and features. It understands Unicode, works with layers, blocks, styles, and objects, and allows you to do manual kerning and embed fonts in your document. For a more accurate layout, it has a customizable grid and guides, with a "sticking" feature. Scribus can create CMYK and RGB color separations in PostScript, work with interactive fill-in forms, and configure automatic hyphenation in 33 languages. The program supports TrueType, Type 1 PostScript and OpenType fonts, and has tools for drawing various shapes. In addition, Scribus has many other useful features and capabilities.
