Split Files is a program designed to split files into smaller pieces and then merge them into the original file. Very often it is used when uploading files to a server that limits the size of the received files. To split a file, you need to select the source file and the directory where the parts of the file will be created. Two splitting options are available: by number of parts, by part size. Part size can be specified in bytes, Kilobytes, Mbytes, Gigabytes.
You can create a .bat file to glue parts without a program. To do this, just run the .bat file in the folder with the parts. If necessary, you can add to the .bat an option to delete parts after a successful build of the original file. The parts of the file can also be compressed using zip compression. To build a file, you need to select the first part, specify the name of the file to be built and the output directory.
The program will automatically determine the number of available parts. You can also choose to delete parts after the build. The files can be selected in the dialog box, or simply dragged to the form of the program.
