Storyboard is a program to help you visualize the plots of your works, with the help of special moving cards. The program is designed to work with scenarios divided into three acts.

Using Storyboard

The program is designed to help ordinary users organize their ideas and save the written script in a convenient and visual form. It has a very simple and straightforward interface that consists of just a few panels, each designed for a different act of storytelling. In each of these, the user can create cards and specify the place of action, the actors, add notes, emotion information, and a description of the conflict. This will help to have all the ideas at hand and greatly facilitate the writing of the script, or further work with it.

The program allows you to divide the narrative into acts

1. The first act introduces all the main characters and sets the mood for the story, describes the main goal of the narrative or the main conflict around which the further action develops. It usually ends with a significant event, thanks to which it becomes clear that to achieve the goal will have to overcome many obstacles.
2. The second act is the longest of the three. It consists of a series of attempts by the character to achieve the set goal or to overcome difficulties on the way to it. The attempts end in more and more failure, but gradually bring the protagonist to the final conflict. Usually the second act ends when the character finally sees "the light at the end of the tunnel" and makes a plan to achieve the desired result.
3. The third act reveals the main idea of the work. The character achieves his goal by finding a new way to overcome difficulties. It ends with a description of how the character's life will change after the end of the narrative.
