SuperTuxKart is an arcade race featuring Tux, the Linux mascot. It is an improved version of the TuxKart game, a fork of it.
Full Circle Magazine called SuperTuxKart one of the best racing games available for Linux and describes it as a must try for those who are tired of realistic racing. The Linux Journal also praises it saying "it is positive, bright and fun to drive SuperTuxKart" stating also "if you played the original game you will like the new, very big innovations in SuperTuxKart".
Linux Format comments on the game like this: "there are incredible improvements to the tracks, physics, input handling and music," the game's multiplayer mode "takes you back to the joys of 8-bit games on TV consoles." Linux Links has included SuperTuxKart in its "Top 100 Free Linux Games" list of arcade games.
