SWFTools

SWFTools is a command line toolkit for creating and manipulating SWF files.

The set includes the following components

• as3compile - full-featured ActionScript 3.0 compiler;
• avi2swf - program to convert avi video to - swf;
• font2swf - program to convert fonts (TTF, Type1) to SWF;
• gif2swf - converts gif to swf;
• jpeg2swf - generates slide shows from one or more jpeg files;
• pdf2swf - converts pdf to swf, one page per frame;
• png2swf - generates slideshows from one or more PNG files;
• swfbbox - to optimize and correct a swf rectangle;
• swfc - creates SWF file from a script. Supports ActionScript 2.0/3.0;
• swfcombine - multifunctional program for such operations with SWF as merging, overlaying, and various parameter manipulations (like resizing);
• wfdump - prints detailed information and disassembled code;
• swfextract - SWF extracts objects from the file: Clips, Sounds, Pictures, etc;
• swfrender - render images from swf files created with pdf2swf, jpeg2swf or png2swf;
• swfstrings - looks for text strings;
• wav2swf - converts wav to swf.
