tag_bpm

tag_bpm calculates the BPM of music tracks and enters it into the database of the foobar2000 player.

Using the program:

1. Select a song and start playing it in the player.
2. Start pressing the beat button in time with the music. The current calculated BPM value will be displayed on the indicator. To achieve greater accuracy, the first 3 presses will be ignored because your hand cannot immediately get into rhythm with the music.
3. Continue pressing the beat button until sufficient measurement accuracy is achieved. The program considers that sufficient accuracy has been reached when the last 10 calculated BPM values differ from each other by no more than 0.5%. When sufficient accuracy is reached: the background of the indicator turns green, the program stops responding to the button beat
4. Press the write tag button to write the BPM to the player's database. If you want to start a new measurement session, you must reset the current indicator reading. The reset occurs automatically when more than 1 second has elapsed since the last beat button was pressed.
