Talisman Desktop is a Windows program that lets you create a new interface of any complexity instead. You can create your own interface from scratch or use the hundreds of ready-made "themes" available on the Internet. The main area of Talisman's application is home and office computers. Almost every day new user-created themes appear on the web.
Unlike standard Windows "themes", Talisman lets you fully customize and customize the interface of your computer. You can add any objects to your desktop, from simple buttons, text and pictures to complex sets of panels and windows. Standard objects in Talisman include clocks, calendars, file lists, HTML and Flash inserts, input fields, icons and buzzers of any size from 16 to 128 pixels.
The program has its own, easily customizable Taskbar and Tray. A huge set of internal commands and the ability to use scripts allow you to bind almost any system command to the buttons of Talisman. Protecting objects from editing, locking and hiding any element of the system, and allowing password access to selected functions allow you to create secure interfaces for public computers where users are only allowed to work with a limited number of system functions.
