The program is an ODBC-compatible database client, executes SQL queries and displays the selected (for SELECT queries) data. It also displays query execution time, number of lines changed (INSERT/UPDATE). Allows you to write to and read from SQL_LONGVARBINARY fields.
Intended for use in command files, because all data: ODBC driver, connection parameters and SQL queries can be set by command line parameters.
SQL queries can be passed through a command line parameter, through a text file or through a standard stdin stream.
It has a special output mode for parsing data by command files and scripts (headers and auxiliary information are excluded from output).
It can also be used as an interactive terminal to connect to data sources and make SQL queries.
The program works with all databases that have an ODBC driver, starting with the simplest file-based databases such as text files and dBase, and ending with serious DBMS - MS SQL Server, Oracle. Even Microsoft Office files such as Excel and Access.
The program requires no installation and no additional libraries.
